Applications are now being accepted for a Right-of-Way Agent at Ada County Highway District in the Boise, Idaho area. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a salary range of $23.74 - $27.29 per hour, DOQ.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - The Right-of-Way (ROW) Agent performs right-of-way work at a journeyman capacity, dealing with all aspects of right-of-way projects including coordinating of right-of-way activities between ACHD and other agencies, preparing staff reports for commission, attending project development meetings, managing properties, and providing technical assistance to other staff. - The ROW Agent also assists in the monitoring of the consultants, managing right-of-way portions of capital improvement projects, reviewing construction plans and project maps, and making title examinations.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have 2-3 years direct experience in eminent domain purchase of right-of-way for a condemning authority with considerable knowledge of appraisal and negotiation principles, policies, procedures, techniques, and title examination. - Completion of college level courses related to real estate acquisition, or related courses including law, appraisal, negotiation, engineering communications, and Real Estate principles is preferred. - Must have a valid Idaho Driver's license at start of employment. - Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be acceptable.
