Kootenai Health is currently hiring for Medical Laboratory Scientist to work in our state of the art facility.
Kootenai Health's Laboratory & Pathology Department provides a full range of diagnostic laboratory services that support acute, emergency, and routine out-patient testing. In this role, you will work with some of the best pathologists, laboratory scientists, and other specialists in laboratory medicine.
The Laboratory at Kootenai Health provides testing and full support of most specialties including, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Pathology, Immunology, Endocrinology, Toxicology.

1. Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or Biology is preferred. At the discretion of laboratory director other college degrees or non-degree educational preparation may be acceptable. At a minimum, ninety hours of documented college courses, to include courses in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics are required.
2. Documented training in a clinical laboratory focused on Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Banking is required.
3. Documentation of successful completion of examination for medical technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, medical laboratory scientist or equivalent through ASCP, NCA, HHS, OR AMT
