Kootenai Health is seeking a knowledgeable Purchasing Manager to lead a smart and hard working Purchasing Team!
In this job you will oversee the purchasing activities for each service unit in a manner consistent with organizational policies and procedures. You will leverage expenditure data and utilization trends to assist in the identification of potential quality improvements and cost savings. You are responsible for effectively monitoring vendor contracts for all service areas within Kootenai Health and all affiliates; assists in the vendor selection, evaluation, and analysis process to ensure that products and services are cost effective and of the highest quality. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty OR 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in purchasing work with three (3) years in a supervisory capacity required. APICS: CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
