In this role, you will take the reins on providing leadership for the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of Kootenai Health's Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) program. You will serve as a champion for both patient and staff safety and injury prevention through the organization. Through collaboration with multidisciplinary personnel, outside SPHM experts/resources, and equipment vendors to stay up to date on standard methodology lift techniques and equipment you will be responsible for educating staff of these practices. Can you see yourself, utilizing your expertise to take this program from the ground and build a strong, wide-ranging foundation? Do we have your attention to keep considering further?

1.     Bachelor's degree (Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or relevant field)

2.     Licensed in Idaho.

3.     Minimum of two years' experience in a related field; certification in SPMH field desirable.

4.     BLS Required.  Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
