Kootenai Health is seeking passionate, ambitious, and professional new graduate nurses who seek to build a future of endless success by being a part of the Kootenai AdvanceTrack Program.
The Kootenai AdvanceTrack Program is an extremely ambitious program that prepares the new graduate nurse for specialty areas of nursing care. The program accepts only the most outstanding and committed applicants. The Advance Track is a 6 month, full-time program that is physically and mentally challenging. The program develops competent professionals with exemplary skills, knowledge, and experience in the following specialty areas: (There will be 1 applicant selected for each area.)
o Critical Care o Obstetrics o Operating Room/Surgical Services o Emergency Services
Applicants who possess the following are considered:
Graduate from nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Be in their final semester before graduation. August graduates may apply with December graduates if all other qualifications are met. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing upon hire. Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of application. Have passed the NCLEX-RN prior to starting the program. Possess an active Idaho Graduate Nurse or Registered Nurse license (prior to start date with the hospital). Have no work experience as a Nurse (RN or LPN). Continue full time employment with Kootenai Health for 30 months after completing the AdvanceTrack program. Obtain a specialty certification in chosen nursing specialty (such as CCRN, CEN, or RN-C) within 30 months of completing the program. Application Requirements - to be turned in by close of posting:
