A growing and dynamic full service CPA Firm in West Seattle is seeking a Senior Tax Manager/Accountant with at least 2 years' experience in Public Accounting, with both corporate and individual tax preparation preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare tax returns for businesses and individuals representing a wide variety of industries and complexities. - Prepare basic tax projections for clients as necessary. - Conduct various tax research projects as necessary. - Collaborate effectively and efficiently - Provide timely, high quality client service - Communicate directly with clients, collecting necessary information for tax return and planning projects. - Help with development of junior staff through task related teaching opportunities. - Participate in professional networking and community events
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. - 2-8 years of recent experience in public accounting. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation; individual, partnership, and corporate returns. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and project tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desired Qualifications: - Graduate degree (MPA or MTax) - Experience conducting tax research. - Experience in presenting/training other staff members, or desire to develop such skills. - Experience in other tax returns; including fiduciary, estate, trust, gift, and payroll return preparation. - Experience using QuickBooks and ProSystems Tax software. - Specialty or focus in client specific industries, or desire to develop a specialty. - Ability to develop new clients and increase services to current clients.
FULL-TIME: 40+ hours weekly PAY: $60,000-80,000 DOE
