SUMMARY Working closely with Controller and VP to assist in financial reporting and verifying.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Management- - Entering deposits and applying payments from multiple sources such as checks, EFT payments, and online merchant services - Entering sales invoices for offsite retail sales that are not ran through ERP system
Accounts Receivable- - Customer statements and account reconciliation - Past due and collection follow-up - Entering and application of credits for resellers that are on contract - Assisting sales department with refunds and special invoicing requirements
Accounts Payable- - Coding and entering non-inventory payables - A/P accounts maintenance and reconciliation - Entering commission invoices - Entering sales demo invoices - Code and enter company CC statements - Maintain W9 file for vendors
Inventory- - Post inventory invoices and maintain cost accounting on components, understanding the effects to margins - Assist in inventory cycle counts entries and regular adjustments
General Ledger- - Assist with month end preparation, corrections and reporting - Assist with chart of accounts maintenance and research - Entry of journal transactions and adjustments
QUALIFICATIONS - Past experience in manufacturing/ beauty industry atmosphere preferred but not required - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - High attention to detail - Knowledge of multiple ERP systems - Multi-State or Multi business entity preferred but not required - Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple and varied projects - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Ability to work in a team environment including multicultural settings
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required Experience: - (A.A.) in accounting or related field or 3+ years of relevant experience - Bookkeeping/QuickBooks Certified preferred but not required
Full Time: M-F CONTRACT-TO-HIRE (Permanent Role) PAY: $20 - $25 Hourly DOE
