About the Telecommunications Specialist Job
As a Telecommunications Specialist you will provide ongoing support and technical assistance in planning, implementing and maintaining telecommunication services. You will monitor and resolve problems with the service and/or determine appropriate action/s for the resolution. In this job you will diagnose and troubleshoot voice network systems to include, wireless VOIP communications, cell phone operation, and analog/digital phone operation. You will respond to telephone and written requests for assistance regarding telecommunication services. Additionally you will maintain a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records. You will coordinate with staff and outside contractors for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently. In this job you will train staff as needed on the system.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
Education · A minimum of High school diploma or GED required.
Experience · A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications or related field required. · A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, repair and installation of telecommunications systems and/or network systems required.
