Job Description Provides inpatient andor ambulatory software support, implementation and training for physicians, site managers, medical directors and clinical support staff. Trains individuals on electronic health records and practice management software using lesson plans and web based tools. Writes, revises and maintains training manuals customized for individual practices. Analyzes the requirements of physician's office and clinical workflow to most effectively implement practice management and electronic health records software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: BA or BS in related field and 1 year healthcare related experience or 5 years' experience in inpatient, ambulatory or IT training/support or 7 years' experience with adult learning required 1 year experience in content development required 1 year experience in project planning and support preferred The ideal candidate will possess; excellent customer service experience, be team orientated, have excellent communication skills, and problem solving ability with the ability to adapt to various demands.
Essential Job Functions (Physical Requirements): Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. Majority of shift spent sitting. No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Communicate with patients, physicians, families and co-workers in person and on telephone. Work with equipment and manipulate equipment settings, computer keyboard, etc.
Work Environment: · Kootenai Health operates 24 hours per day each day of the year; operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the patients. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
