CHAS is looking for an individual that has excellent customer service skills, has a drive to help people with their technological issues, and who has experience troubleshooting and fixing various computer, printer and networking issues in a business environment. This job will include a variety of duties such as: Desktop and Phone support for PC's & peripherals and troubleshooting printing and faxing issues. This position also supports Windows Active Directory servers and various related services. This person will also assist Senior engineers with Cisco networking, phone and wireless issues. This position will primarily service three clinics in Clarkston, Lewiston, and Moscow and will require frequent travel between them. Provides advanced user support for escalated issues regarding business and clinical applications, systems, servers, and network infrastructure. Trains users on the effective use of technology and cross-train IT staff on advanced troubleshooting of systems. Communicates and coordinates testing, implementations, and upgrades. Identifies, triage, and resolve a variety of technical issues. Escalates unresolved issues to vendors. Participates in a regular on-call rotation. Manages the CHAS data backup system. Achieves productivity standards and goals while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Creates and maintains documentation on common issues and processes. Performs other duties as assigned. Initial training for this position will be located at our Administration building in Spokane, WA for a period of 90 days and will be followed up with additional training for 30-60 days at the clinics mentioned above. Associates degree or higher in a technical field preferred. Certification in one or more of the following is recommended: A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional. 1-2 years of experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and peripherals in a professional environment required. Experience managing and supporting network and server infrastructure required. Experience with Health Information Technology preferred. Skills: Above average technical skills, problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently, contribute to a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality are required. Computer skills required. Physical Demands Required to stand, sit and be mobile up to one-third of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Required to read from text and computer screen over two-thirds of the time. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs. and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
