Kootenai Health is seeking a community-minded, quality driven, and highly motivated Surgical Scrub Techs!
You will be an integral part of the surgical team by preparing and maintaining medical equipment for surgical procedures. While working under the supervision of Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the surgeon, the technologist functions primarily in the scrub role. You will apply and enforce principles of aseptic technique and adapts to unpredictable situations within the perioperative setting. May be required to transport the patient to and from the operating room. As part of this growing force of dream surgical team, you are supported and given the opportunity to succeed through many avenues.
To be successful in this role, you must: 1. Be a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program 2. Obtain a Surgical Technician Certification (CST) within one year from date of hire 3. Obtain a Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire
