Kootenai Health is seeking a knowledgeable and forward thinking WOC, RN. Someone with a real passion for patient safety and nursing specialty for WOC Nursing. In this role, you will assist staff and physicians with patient care activities including, but not limited to, wound care, ostomy care, and potential or actual tissue trauma. Responsibility may include patient care during hyperbaric treatments in the clinic setting. You will also plan, assess, and promote enterostomal patient education needs and care in accordance with Kootenai Health policies.

Minimum Qualifications: State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho. Bachelor's degree (BSN) required. Minimum of one year nursing experience required. Completion of an introductory hyperbaric medicine course approved by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society or by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology preferred. This training will be provided for the appropriate candidate upon hire if not already obtained. Certified Hyperbaric RN and/or Certified Wound Care Nurse preferred. Wound care certification required within 24 months of hire. BLS and ACLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation.
