Our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurses are specialized professionals who provide intensive observation and treatment of patients that have undergone anesthesia and are some of the most vulnerable patients. If chosen, we will provide you with on-going educational opportunities and a great group of coworkers who truly have a passion for what they do each day.
Kootenai Health's PACU unit consist of: · 5 - Recovery Phase I bays · 4 - Phase II bays · 10 - pre-op bays
You will need to have: · A graduated from a nationally accredited Nursing program. · State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho. · BSN or enrollment and continuous progression towards completion of a BSN program. · A minimum of 1-year experience in Critical Care, Emergency or OR/PACU required, as applicable. · ACLS, PALS, BLS
