About the Respiratory Clinical Educator position:
Functions in a bedside, hands-on role as a respiratory expert, educator and consultant for other assigned departments in the clinical development and education of hospital staff. Analyzes and validates educational needs and competencies. Develops and initiates training programs that facilitate achievement of clinical competency goals. Participates in the development of standards of practice using the most current evidenced based medicine. Implements critical care education processes that enhance knowledge, skills and attitudes for safe, competent and effective respiratory practice. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Current license as Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Idaho. Bachelor's degree required Registered Respiratory Therapist A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in acute care settings. Previous experience in designing, developing, conducting and evaluating training programs for adult learners preferred. Experience in project management and implementation preferred.
