Purpose of Job:
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing leadership for the development, implementation and coordination of organization-wide improvement efforts.
Designs, develops, implements and maintains corporate quality improvement program.
Identifies and implements evidence based quality measures throughout the enterprise.
Leads and develops Quality Improvement Coaches.
Responsible for Quality Improvement data collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in science or healthcare with at least five years of supervision/leadership work experience, or at least ten years of progressive work experience demonstrating leadership and change management skills.   Previous experience working for underserved populations preferred.
Skills: Team building/leadership skills including conflict management, training and supervision required. Proven ability to lead and implement organizational change.  Customer service skills required.  analytical and problem solving skills required.  Experience working with data collection methods both qualitative and quantitative with skills in statistical analysis and reporting practices required.  Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills required.  Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization. Computer skills required.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, sit and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
