Assists the Director and executive leadership in the overall presentation, implementation, execution, control and completion of the organization's strategic plan. Ensures consistency and coordination among tasks, assignments and activities required to successfully complete strategic projects. Manages and reports on progress, milestones and timelines to ensure advancement and accomplishment of the organizations strategy, commitments and goals. Utilizes diagnostic tools to analyze data and trends. Evaluates and contributes to the execution of new business units, joint ventures, acquisitions, and services. Provides consultative services to unit leadership to include feasibility of new programs and services, opportunities for performance improvement of services, and assistance with review of mergers and acquisitions. Supports the business planning functions to include market analysis, pro forma development, the setting of strategic goals and metrics. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and critical thinking is expected. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or similar field preferred Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or similar field preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a healthcare setting required. Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project management, strategic planning, and data analytics preferred. Background and experience with hospital operations desired.
Essential Job Functions: Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. Majority of shift spent sitting. No or very limited physical effort required. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Communicate with patients, physicians, families and co-workers in person and on telephone. Work with equipment and manipulate equipment settings, computer keyboard, etc.
Work Environment: · Kootenai Health operates 24 hours per day each day of the year; operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the patients. · Kootenai Health Clinic locations have operation hours based on locations and patient needs therefore availability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as appropriate for location will be expected and required. · Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
