The Port of Whitman County is accept- ing applications for the position of Port Maintenance Technician. This position will report to the Properties and Development Manager. The principal function of the Maintenance Technician is to perform manual and semi-skilled work associated with construction, repair and maintenance of the Port's buildings and facilities. The principal duties of the Maintenance Technician are performed in an outdoor environment which may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards. Applicant must be able to hold pesticide and weed control certifications. The successful applicant will be able to implement and maintain maintenance schedules. Problem solving abilities and a self motivator a must. Qualified applicant must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and driving record with no misdemeanor or felony driving offenses and no more than one infraction in the last three years.
