About the Pharmacist Job
We are looking for a Pharmacist with experience in both oncology and ambulatory care. As a Pharmacist in this job your oncology responsibilities include reviewing and building regimens, supervising technicians, and dealing with research drugs and protocols. You will review medication reconciliations, educate patients, provide drug information and assist licensed providers to ensure optimal drug therapy for patients.
Work Environment: In this job you will rotate through each of our 3 cancer centers as well as rotate through our ambulatory care services.
Call Rotation Required: Pharmacists are required to be on call to cover the Saturday infusion clinic, the Specialty Pharmacy, and pump problems when the clinics are closed.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
Education · Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Experience and Desired Skills · Oncology experience preferred. · Ambulatory experience preferred. · Excellent patient care. · Flexible. · Highly motivated. · Thrives in a fast paced-ever changing environment.
Licensure/Certification · Must be licensed and/or license eligible in the State of Idaho. Licensure required prior to start date.
