Kootenai Health is currently seeking a part time patient equipment transporter to join our team. This part time position will be scheduled 56 hours per pay period and requires availability for all shifts.
As a patient equipment transporter, you will transport patients to and from all services areas of the hospital utilizing bed, gurney or wheelchair. You will physically transfer patients from bed to gurney or bed to wheelchair utilizing proper lift assist techniques and equipment. Additional duties will include cleaning, stocking, organizing and distributing equipment used in patient care. Will communicate with clinical staff as well as patients and their families. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a management team and may perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified, preferred BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation.
