Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a large, well respected community mental health center located in eastern Washington. We are seeking experienced professionals to work within a team to provide integrated mental health services.
Discharge Planner (Weekend) Master's degree in behavioral sciences and 2 years' exp working with psychiatrically impaired populations. Must be a Mental Health Professional. SUMMARY - Provides discharge planning services to adults who are experiencing serious and persistent mental disorders, with a primary focus on clinical case management through case coordination, problem-solving, oversight and facilitation actions as needed for assigned clinical team. Staff are expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of contemporary, psychosocial principles in relation to his/her area of responsibility. Must have the clinical knowledge to assess in terms of suicidal (including past attempts/suicidal ideation), homicidally and ability to care for self; safety needs; orientation and thought process (formal or informal mental status exam); patient's affiliation with other therapeutic alliances; support networks
Clinician III - Access to Care Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services. Must have or be eligible for Washington State Licensure. Must be a mental health professional (MHP). SUMMARY -Provide initial assessments for outpatient services: Involves comprehensive assessments, preliminary diagnoses and treatment recommendations for both youth and adults.Completes initial service authorization processes, provides care coordination and linking with appropriate community providers for persons who are not eligible for or able to benefit from services at FBH.
Clinician II - Intensive Outpatient Program The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) works with clients who have a diagnosis of a Personality Disorder. Experience treating clients with a personality disorder diagnosis and/or training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred. Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services. Must be eligible for Washington State Registration. Must meet criteria to be a mental health professional (MHP). SUMMARY - Provide counseling and care coordination services to clients assigned to caseload, including: Identifying and including the client's support network in care coordination; Counseling for client and possible family members; Assisting clients in identifying and accessing resources which will meet their needs; Assisting clients in the development of healthy coping mechanisms; Education on mental disorders and support with symptom management; and Coordination and collaboration with community resources on behalf of clients.
