About the Medical Assistant Job
As a Medical Assistant you are responsible for vitals, injections and basic triage and will be able to assist in minor procedures. In this job you will possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, have excellent customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills. As an ideal candidate, you will be knowledgeable of routine office procedures and medical instruments, and will screens phone calls from patients for the provider. As a Medical Assistant you will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Essential Duties · Maintain an efficient patient flow · Assist Physician during patient exams · Performs all necessary follow-up in a timely and accurate manner · Provides quality care
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
Education · High School Diploma or equivalent required · Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Licensure/Certification · Passage of CMA examination given by AAMA, NCCT or NHA or passage of RMA examination given by AMT required within 3 months from date of hire.
