A long-time established company in the Tri-Cities area is looking to add a Marketing Manager their Richland Office. This candidate would oversee events, outreach, marketing and communication efforts for all company departments. We are looking for a representative for our company in the media and public and community venues such as human service organizations, schools, and major employers, as well as manage the Customer Service department and travel training related projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates all marketing and communication materials such as brochures, flyers, news releases, websites and news conferences. Provides leadership and participates in strategic planning related to marketing and customer service; maintains knowledge of industry trends and relevant litigation. Supervises staff: prioritizes and assigns work, conducts performance evaluations, ensures staff members are adequately trained and makes hiring, termination and disciplinary action recommendations. Manages the Customer Service Department, including travel training activities and evaluations. Oversees travel training activities, such as collateral material development, reporting procedures and eligibility determinations. Coordinates and manages internal and external special events, news conferences and employee recognition programs. Liaises with outside organizations to coordinate bus service and communications for select events. Oversees department budget; reviews expenditures on a monthly basis and overall budget line items on a yearly basis. Coordinates community outreach and networking events with civic organizations, human service agencies, for-profit and non-profit business and constituents, and Boards of Directors. Performs other related duties as necessary.

Skill in using a computer and related software applications. Ability to organize, set priorities and exercise sound independent judgment with area of responsibility. Ability to develop, manage and schedule work for employees. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to maintain working relationships. Ability to manage projects. Ability to create a marketing plan. Ability to forecast revenue and expenditures.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field Five (5) years of marketing or related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong customer service skills + background
PAY: DOE Full Time : Mon - Fri 8-5 3-6 Month Contract Assignment
