A leading Healthcare provider in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Healthcare Reporting Consultant for the Quality and Risk Adjustment team. This position will lead the development of business, systems, and database solutions to support ad hoc and automated reporting. The Healthcare Reporting Consultant combines technical systems design and programming knowledge with advanced project management skills, in order to support the organization in making programmatic and financial decisions. The analyst understands operational and business processes in order to define and automate database and report requirements, and to solve system issues.
Using database management and analysis skills, the Healthcare Reporting Consultant writes complex programs to support report automation activities. Engage customers to gather and document reporting and analysis requirements, as well as document requirements for capturing and reporting data in a method that will assist the development process and other analytic and reporting staff in meeting customer requirements. Design reports; synthesize results, using strategic, analytical or statistical methodology, for a variety of uses including utilization, cost containment, quality improvement, enhancing operations and addressing identified issues Effectively interact with a variety of audiences to gain agreement on specific data requirements that support meaningful information to drive appropriate business decisions. Lead cross functional teams to support recommendations and program implementation as needed.
Bachelor's degree in quantitative, Healthcare, or computer sciences degree such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or four (4) years' of CIS work experience. Three (3) years of programming experience. Skills should include some combination of: SQL Server 2000 or 2005, Access Database design, Data Warehousing and Mining, MS Access.
