Perform diagnostic Adult Echocardiograms on inpatients and outpatients. Associate's degree (AA), or equivalent, from a college or technical school in Echocardiography or; experience and training necessary for designation of "Registry Eligible" in Echocardiography required. RDMS or RCS Registration required within 6mos of hire. BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross or KMC BLS within 60 days of hire. Additional job requirements - Echo is covered after hours 7 days per week (5:30pm-7am.) Typical call requirements are 1-2 nights per pay period.
· On feet a minimum of 8-12 hours, depending on length of shift. · Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and pushing heavy equipment. · Read charts, dials, equipment settings, literature and other printed and handwritten materials. · Communicate with patients, physicians, families and co-workers in person and on telephone. · Work with equipment and manipulate equipment settings, computer keyboard, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Kootenai Health operates 24 hours per day each day of the year, operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work, and/or take call for all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the patients. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
NATURE OF POSITION
Inspect construction sites to assure compliance with safety standards, codes and regulations; examine construction drawings; specifications; and building project proposals. Provide the public with information concerning construction codes and processes.
