You will be responsible for day to day operations and quality of care delivered within Heart & Vascular Services. You will establish an organizational structure and hire qualified staff allowing for program growth and achievement of budget projections. You will ensure systems are in place to effectively monitor the clinical quality metrics, improvement in operational performance and appropriate utilization of services. You will utilize your dynamic leadership skills by building a positive, engaging work environment facilitating teamwork and creating optimal patient care outcomes. You will work in collaboration with administrative staff and the medical directors to provide exceptional patient experience related to safety, service, quality and cost. Is able to effectively drive and manage change. Ensures departments meet all regulatory requirements and professional guidelines. This role does require twenty four (24) hour accountability. Minimum Qualifications: - Master's degree in business, health care administration or a health-related field required. - A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant clinical area is preferred. - 5 years' progressively responsible management experience in cardiovascular services is preferred. - Specialty certification is required within one year of hire. - Demonstrated in-depth clinical and management knowledge of the cardiovascular patient population and the ability to develop clinical programs within a cardiac product line and to execute business strategy and operational excellence. - Proven ability to manage and interact with physicians, executives and care teams utilizing a collaborative and inclusive interpersonal style. - Excellent organizational, problem solving, conflict resolution and communications skills. - Demonstrated dedication to improving work place culture, embracing diversity and a commitment to building the ideal work environment for physicians and staff. - Understanding of clinical information and computer systems as well as coding and billing reimbursement.
