To help spearhead our journey, we are seeking a Digital Sales and Operations Manager to join our team.
The Digital Sales and Operation Manager will research qualifying vendor partners. She or he will develop, test, and price digital solutions agency offerings, which will serve new local, regional, national and even global clients. This position will supervise and set revenue goals for a multimedia sales team, and oversee the ongoing execution of an e-marketing program for current Spokesman-Review advertisers and new clients.
Duties and Responsibilities: -Supervise multimedia sales executives in achievement of their monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. This includes goal tracking, education, coaching on pipeline management, and weekly call planning. -Provide one-on-one coaching to multimedia sales executives on a weekly basis; this function will work in concert with the Director of Sales. -Establish rates and guidelines for new digital ad programs, and ensure current rate programs are effective in generating digital revenue. -Supervise Digital Administrative Assistant to ensure Accounting, order fulfillment and ad tracking standards are met. -Research through in-person visits and/or Skype meetings successful digital solutions agencies, both those housed in newspaper companies as well as standalone agencies. -Research local, regional and national digital agency competitors to determine Spokesman-Review's sweet spot. -Based on research of digital solutions agency, vet vendor partners, review partner contracts, and price out services both ala carte and as packages. Write business plan for digital solutions agency, and build rollout timeline and goals. -Manage the transition from current e-marketing vendor to an internal Digital Engagement Coordinator. -Work with Digital Engagement Coordinator and all S-R multimedia sales executives to determine current and future e-marketing needs; price e-marketing services as one component of digital solution agency offerings.

The position has a starting pay rate of $65,000, DOE, with 10 percent of annual salary bonus potential if goals are met or exceeded.
