Kootenai Health is seeking a team-oriented, quality driven, and highly motivated individual to join the Nutrition team as the newest Cook!
As a Cook at Kootenai Health you will prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production delivery and service schedules. They serve and prepare food for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Cooks taste all prepared food items and clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Additionally, Cooks store and discard excess food in accordance with safe food handling practices.
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications 1. High School Diploma or equivalent required 2. One year cooking experience in a hospital, institution or restaurant required
