The Spokesman-Review is seeking a qualified individual to produce classified advertising revenue by selling our products/services and manage customer orders. The position is designed to serve the needs of our advertising customers by delivering appropriate solutions that help achieve the advertiser's objectives; this is achieved by quoting pricing, advertising options and other requested information, and to negotiate contract rates via email, phone, and fax. Type of advertising sold may include Newspaper, digital solutions, and any other product or service offered by The Spokesman-Review.
What you will do... - Builds positive relationships with advertisers by delivering appropriate solutions that help achieve the advertiser's objectives. - Maximizes revenue producing opportunities and minimizes revenue losses. - Demonstrates the integrated selling of our products & services. - Consistently maintains and records sales calls, account contact information, and other database information that is required for high job performance. - Manage the customer's order flow of copy, order placement, manufacture, distribution, billing, and payment through post sales service in such a way to reduce cost credits, write-offs, and provide hassle free service. - Ensure that all advertising for assigned clients is published in accordance with established rates, contracts, advertising processes, standards and policies.
Who you are... - You will need to bring a demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with advertisers, fellow account executives, graphic designers and sales coordinators in managing the order fulfillment process. - You have excellent organizational skills, able to work under deadline pressures efficiently and effectively, and are able to handle multiple tasks. - You are able to collaborate effectively within a team environment; including excellent communication skills and able to learn additional tasks to assist in departmental coverage. - Prior related digital sales, media sales or classified experience is preferred.
