A well-established company in the Tri-Cities area is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager for their Richland Office to assist with a long-term contract project. This person will provide technological solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and assist with analysis of client?s information technology systems and processes.
KEY PROCESS: ? Gather background information ? Identify key stakeholders ? Discover business objectives (Business Objective List) ? Evaluate options (business case document includes cost-benefit analysis, impact analysis, risk analysis) ? Scope definition (scope document) ? Delivery Plan ? Define project requirements ? Support implementation ? Evaluate value added by project: performance reports and/or trends and/or ROI analysis; potential enhancements or new projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Project encompasses the analysis of client?s information technology systems and processes. ? Provide technological solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program. ? Communicate to stakeholders, facilitators, and business partners in a clear and concise manner. ? Successful completion of project initiatives that are on-time and within budget; complete detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. ? Develop detailed business cases, cost-benefit analysis, requirements, and/or solution alternatives related to technology solutions. ? Implement strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements. ? Comprehensive and accurate understanding of the project?s business needs ? Assess situation, receive input from stakeholders, and select a course of action; determine solutions that will fulfill requirements ? Strong technical aptitude to develop methods to test and design business systems. ? Create workable solutions to resolve problems and move toward successful completion of project. ? Plan and implement project scope, including facilitating the definition of project charters, goals, tasks and resource requirements. ? Document, verify, and meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders. ? Create reports and provide briefings presenting to stakeholders for review and approval. ? Maintain relationships within the organization; speak to individuals of various technical abilities, skills, and backgrounds ? Under direction of project owner, will manage the project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment. ? Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and storyboards. ? Prepare and deliver strategic business process modeling and quality management techniques. ? Excellent technical/business writing and presentation skills. ? Expert level in Excel and Access, able to develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
PAY: DOE FULL TIME: MONDAY ? FRIDAY 8AM- 5PM LONG TERM CONTRACT: 12-18 Months
