A unique marketing company with a focus in eCommerce is looking for a experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Bellevue team. This employee will be responsible for overseeing and executing the accounting tasks related to the revenue cycle, including customer billing, customer payments, sales commissions, credit, collections, and revenue accounting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for all aspects of customer billing including large orders and multiple distribution shipments. Works with various departments to ensure complete and accurate reporting of job related costs to ensure and comprehensive and timely invoicing. Calculates sales commissions. Evaluates new customer's credit worthiness and credit limits according to best practice, company guidelines and policies. Produces and distributes month-end reporting for internal and external customers. Coordinates the merchant accounts in use and reviews on a monthly basis. Processes, researches, and resolves all merchant chargebacks. Assists other departments with various accounting needs and questions. Ensure compliance with accounting policies
SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience with NAV preferred but not required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service for internal and external client groups. Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills in order to manage a continuous workflow in a fast pace, high volume, multi-tasking environment. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people. Proven ability to take responsibility and initiative to complete weekly and monthly tasks on a timely basis. Ability to work independently in an evolving environment where processes and procedures require frequent review and revision. Ability to deal with sensitive situations with tact and well-reasoned judgment under pressure. Ability to anticipate, identify and respond to changing business priorities.
Education/Certifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, business or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-4 years Accounting experience. Job cost accounting a plus.
PAY: $25-$30 Hourly DOE Direct Hire Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Vacation
